Hello and welcome to the U.S. Kayakers Club. I’m putting this video together to invite persons to join the U.S Kayakers Club and make kayaking and paddle boarding more assessible to families. New Members as an introduction will be offered kayaking in our area with an opportunity to check out 5 different styles of watercraft as your Kayaking membership introduction of 2 hours and a Membership fee $10.00. This will give you the different experiences each style brings. We’ve been giving free use of our kayaks and paddleboards for over 9 years at our home on Longboat Key, Sarasota Bayside adjacent to Joan Durante Park and now, in my 70’s I’m moving to the Nokomis Beach Area for the primary reason of catching a good picture of the American Bald Eagles nesting in the area. Now is the time to enjoy our areas beauty. Offering free kayaks has turned into a Not for Profit Business. Over the years we’ve noticed most of the Kayak launch facilities in Sarasota County have little traffic and can offer a great experience unlike the designated overly trafficked county concessions which unfortunately must charge fees to offset the the expensive Bid to the county for the ability to have their concessions. Many local families cannot afford the 20-40 (per person) for a Kayak or Paddleboard session. A single parent or coparenting families have challenges, and make the chance for more of lifes discovery difficult. So, we hope with everyones help to do our small part. . General Membership Fee——————-includes first session up to 2 hours of watercraft usage. First Responders—————————— Free introduction membership to our different styles of watercraft – up to 2 hours thereafter $10 dollars for up to 2 Hours of Kayak or Paddleboard use at our designated area launch sites Veterans and Active Duty Persons……… Free introduction membership to our different watercraft -up to 2 hours thereafter $10 dollars for up to 2 Hours of Kayak or Paddleboard use at our designated area launch sites Month of March 2024 Free After School Parent/Child or Big Sister/Big Brother 3 pm til 5pm Program Mon- Fri… Weather permitting …………Any Parent and their Child over 10 can use our Kayaks in Designated Area. Limited reservations daily.

Must be 18 or accompanied by parent or guardian.
